The Participant Advisory Committee: Introduction and call out for new applications!

By Chelsea Smith

The Participant Advisory Committee (PAC) is a select group of Brain Wellness Program (BWP) participants who are helping improve the program  - from BWP program delivery, class content, fundraising, research seminar topics, to website design. The PAC was created to provide a participant perspective towards a comprehensive and integrated approach to brain wellness. The PAC meets once a month on Zoom to discuss a variety of BWP initiatives and programs, with feedback being sent directly back to the BWP team.

The PAC is composed of a diverse range of participants and includes people living with chronic brain conditions, healthy agers and caregivers who participate in the BWP. The valuable first-hand feedback the PAC provides to the BWP is used to inform participant-driven change. Check out the current PAC on our website by clicking here. We have had a wonderful year with the 2021-2022 PAC group, and are calling out for new applicants to fill positions on the 2022-2023 PAC!
