Brent Hirose

Instructor - Improv for Brain Health


Brent Hirose is an multidisciplinary artist based in Vancouver, B.C. A graduate of the University of Winnipeg, he brings a love of performance, play and curiosity to his work and his teaching. As an improviser he is the artistic director of The Spontaneous Shakespeare Company, a founding member of Fistful of Kicks and a mainstage cast member Tightrope Theatre. He has taught improv for The Young Actors Project, UBC Improv, The South Vancouver Youth Centre and Instant Theatre and currently teaches for Vancouver Film School, Tightrope Theatre and Improv for Work and Wellness. He has been the lead instructor for Improv for Brain Health since 2021 and loves the beautiful community of brave, inquisitive and funny folks who continue to make these classes a joy to facilitate.
