Gemma Tomasky

Instructor - Strength & Balance Level 3


Gemma Tomasky has a diverse experience as an exercise instructor from working in both the rehabilitation and research worlds. She graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia (UBC). During her education, she was fortunate to learn from Indigenous communities and the disabled community about compassionate and accessible rehabilitation for everyone. Gemma is currently completing a Master in Physical Therapy at UBC

She enjoys listening to podcasts, baking, and taking dance classes. You can often find her hiking, biking, and kayaking around the Lower Mainland.

Gemma is a second-generation settler with Eastern European heritage who grew up on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of Coast Salish peoples, including the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) lands.
