Kamal Parmar has had extensive experience serving on several non-profit health related organisations both as a presenter as well as a volunteer research participant in studies related to seniors.
She is also a healthcare practitioner with almost 20 years of clinical experience. Her interests lie in studying how lifestyle self management can improve brain health and fine tune cognitive skills of seniors.

Interests
Avid reader on current health-related issues, current topics and latest research relating to medicine, natural foods as well as vitamins and supplements.
Enjoys community involvement and facilitating workshops on health issues such as ‘How to Age gracefully’ & ‘A holistic approach to solving sleep problems’.
Interest in researching studies on Aging and Seniors; ageism as well as cognitive health. Working on a course on MS and its impact on the social and emotional health.
Currently completing an online certification course on Preventing Dementia by Wicking Dementia Centre—Australia.
