Care Partner Workshop - Rekindling & Reimagining Meaningful Ways of Hoping (Oct 2024)

Connect to and explore personally meaningful and relevant ways of relating, feeling, thinking and acting with hope. Lenora will share and create moments for us to reflect on what she is learning about hope and quality of life. In so doing, Lenora will also share specific hope focused practices and strategies that she first learned about while working with HOPE KIDS and those they supported in care centres at an internationally acclaimed applied research centre. Instructor Information: Lenora M. LeMay, formerly an elementary teacher and Director of Education at the Hope Foundation of Alberta, is an Adjunct Academic Colleague in the Elementary Department at the University of Alberta. As a hope-focused practitioner, she is currently developing hope-focused learning opportunities for K-12 students and for those supporting the homelessness. Her research focuses on understanding the experience of making hope visible and accessible in our interactions.
